Our Special Effects for the Production

This term we are having so much fun with our green screen that we thought we would use it for our segment in the school production. Yvette's Production Writing

I thought we were good at our production. The bad thing is people shake their shakers and people talk. I'm going to be nervous because lots of people will be there. The blue group is not noisy, the pink and yellow group are noisy. People had to look at the audience on the stage. We did our practise wearing our costume and then we did another practise without our costumes. I loved our production and our music. Yesterday when we did our production in front of our parents in the afternoon Germaine and Oxsanah looked behind at the screen. I didn't. I liked the robot dance and the shields. The stars on our star glasses are shiny. I thought we were great when we did our production. We were fantastic. I liked the way we danced. At the end of our production we sang just one Earth. Then we went back to class.

My thoughts on the Production By Mary

Yesterday we practised our production on the planet Venus and it was fun. When Miss Paton took our photo it was on the screen. I was on the screen. When it was finished Fine said we hope you enjoyed our night flight to Venus. Then the audience clapped for us. Then we got off the stage and I felt happy.

Patrick meets Craig Smith

Patrick enjoyed listening to the author Craig Smith read his story book the Wonky Donkey and sing some songs for us on his acoustic guitar. Did you know that Craig's guitar has a Maori pattern on it. Check out his recount.

Deziree's Production Recount

I felt happy because Oxsanah and Germaine were dancing well. Oh S'mar upset Miss Paton because he didn't put his star glasses and hat when it was his turn, to speak at our production practise. My class was dancing well.

Fine's Production Writing

Today we practised our production on Venus three times. Two times we practised in our costumes and we practiced without our costumes only once. I thought we were good because we didn't make a mistake, but only Oh S'mar and I forgot to put on our star glasses. We have been practising for about 2 weeks.
We were in three teams: they were yellow, blue and pink. Each team had a chalk line for us to dance on and the lines were the colour of our teams. Me, Germaine, Oxsanah and Yvette used lots and lots of energy. Miss Paton was so happy that she said that she will buy us some lollies. Every class at Panmure Bridge school are taking part in the Production.

Let the Little Red Hen Retellings Begin

Some School Holiday Stories, just for you:
Over the last few weeks we have been working on retelling the Little Red Hen Story. We've learnt to use speech marks and question marks correctly as we wrote this story.
After we wrote our stories each of us had to draw a hen using the programme Kid Pix. Check out our hens.

Creative Voice celebrates 200 Episodes

Today we are turning 200. Not in years, but in episodes. We have made 200 episodes which include: Voice Threads, Podcasts, Movies, Animoto, Animasher, Xtranormal and Pulp Motion presentations. On February 5th Creative Voice was born and we made our first episode on "Meet the Class". We have definitely come along way since then with our speaking, listening, writing and reading. The creators of this site are now commenting on their own work independently. A fantastic achievement as most of the children are 5 and 6 years old. Some have turned 7 recently.

Congratulations Room 3, I am very proud of you all and enjoy uploading your work onto this site. Keep your wonderful writing and reading coming in. From Miss Joy Paton-Class Teacher.
