Our Night Flight to Venus Costumes

On Friday August 21st, the Room 3 children did an item at the whole school assembly. The item was based on the planet Venus. As Venus is the brightest star in the sky and is known as the morning and evening star we focused our costume on the star theme.
When we made the star masks we used red, orange and yellow as these are the colours of fire and Venus is just as hot as fire. We also used lots of glitter, so we could glisten in the light.
The item was a sneak preview to what we have in store at the end of the year for our school production on the planet theme "What's Out There?" Check out our Star Party Hats and our Star Masks photos.

Planting Radish

This term the junior team are learning to plant seeds. We chose radish seeds to plant as they grow very fast. We first filled a container with some fertilized rich soil, then we put some seeds on top of the soil and then covered the seeds with some soil. From there we watered each container and watched the seeds grow.

Doing the right thing

Amato and Creedence can handle tough situations well. They use "I" statements to express their feelings, if they are experience name calling. Check out our future actors: Caitlin, Mary, Amato and Creedence as they re-enact a play that they have written themselves.

When situations go wrong

This is another re-enactment of Caitlin, Mary, Creedence and Amato's movie. This is a pretend scenario of how situations go can wrong and how they are managed in the wrong way. The whole situation is made up. In this situation there is a real lack of "I" statements used in this movie and the problem that the actors are experiencing becomes much bigger. This first movie is used to compare against the second movie.
