Making 3D Nets

This week we are investigating the 3D shapes. Today we made 3D nets out of paper and then we were partnered up to make a cube using kebab sticks / toothpicks and wine gums. Check out our movie and this rich maths activity. At the end of making the 3D cube, we had to measure one edge and then multiplied the number of edges altogether. Check out our movie.

Creative voice, this is a lovely blog page you have created.
I love the way that you guys did a video on measurement, which will help with our class since we are learning about measurement.
