My retelling of the Three Little Pigs Story By Teagan

Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs. One day their mother told them that they were old enough to build their own houses and live by themselves and not with their mother. The first pig worked very hard and built his house out of hay and straw. Then he relaxed on a stack of straw. The second pig worked very hard too and built his house out of twigs and sticks. Then sat down on a the chair he made out sticks. The third pig worked the hardest and built his house out of cement and bricks. He worked all day to make his house perfect.

One day there was a wolf and this wolf didn’t have his lunch, so he was looking for a feast. He was walking along the forest when he saw this house made out of straw. He looked in the window with his big eyes  and he could see a big piece of bacon. It was the first little pig. He shouted to the pig in his deep voice “Little pig, little pig let me in”.
The pig replied in his high voice “Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin”. The big bad wolf replied in his deep voice “I’ll huff and I’ll blow your house down”. So he huffed and he puffed and he blew the first pigs house down. So the first pig ran jiggling his way  over to the second pigs house.
He knocked on the door and shouted in horror “Open the door a wolf’s chasing me”. The wolf looked in with his big eyes into the second little pigs house. He saw two pieces of bacon, they were the pigs. The big bad wolf shouted “Little pigs, little pigs let me in”, the pigs replied “Not by the hairs of my chiny chin chin”.
The big bad wolf replied “I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down”. So he huffed and he puffed and blew his house down. So the jiggling pigs ran over to the third little pigs house. They knocked on the door and shouted “Open the door a wolf wants to eat us for dinner”. The big bad wolf looked inside and saw three pieces of bacon. He shouted “Little pigs, little pigs let me in”.
the pigs replied “Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins”.
the wolf replied “I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down”. So the big bad wolf huffed and he puffed but he could not blow the third pigs house down. He was frustrated. The wolf thought of a plan. He would climb on top of the chimney and come down the fireplace, but the third pig was ready. He put boiling hot water over the hot, hot fire. The wolf fell in “OWWW” he screamed. The big bad wolf stopped bullying and was never seen again.
The pigs lived together in their own brick houses and lived happily ever after.

Hi, can i ask you something? I’m looking for children books with “scary” animal illustrations like the big bad wolf (or a fox) eating pigs (or seven kids or Red Riding hood or birds in Chicken Little) or being pictured with a fat stomach. Could be any other animal as well. Have you seen any book of this sort? Any sort of help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Great blog, by the way!
